Three professors from the Colorado State University Department of Physics (Norm Buchanan, Walter Toki, and Bob Wilson) are among members of the T2K collaboration to share in the 2016 Breakthrough Prize for Fundamental Physics. The award was given for: “… the fundamental discovery and exploration of neutrino oscillations, revealing a new frontier beyond, and possibly far beyond, the standard model of particle physics.”
