01/18/2017 Principle Investigator, Dylan Yost, has just received the National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award to investigate laser cooling of atomic hydrogen. This award is given in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars and is meant to integrate education and research.
12/19/2016 We just published our first paper in applied physics B on our 243nm laser system.
Abstract:

10/13/2016 We just found out we were awarded the 2016 NIST precision measurement grant to perform spectroscopy of atomic hydrogen. Specifically, we will study the 2S-8D transition.
