We are generally interested in any topics in theoretical condensed matter and materials physics, with a special focus on the roles of spin-orbit coupling. While our research is driven by curiosity, we prefer the topics having strong connections with potential or existing experiments. A selection of our recent research subjects are:

  • Magnetism and transport properties of noncollinear magnetic systems with strong spin-orbit coupling

  • Topological superconductivity and other topological phenomena in condensed matter systems

  • Moiré structures of low-dimensional materials

  • Spin superfluidity

  • Superconductivity in low-dimensional and disordered systems
